Tour Plan

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Nesrat

Departure at 8:00 AM from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the capital of Moroccan cinema, then cross the Anti-Atlas before descending into the Draa Valley with its ksars and fortified villages. Continue toward Zagora and reach the desert of Nesrat, where you meet your camel team. Dinner and overnight under tents. Approx. 7 hours of driving.

Day 2: Nesrat – Bou Gaiwarne Dunes – Tidri Dunes

Begin your first day of desert trekking through Berber villages such as Ignaoun and Moulay Ali Cherif. Visit Zaouiat Sidi Salah, the regional center. Lunch prepared by your cook in an oasis. Continue walking to camp at the foot of the impressive Tidri dunes. Overnight under tents. Approx. 5 hours of walking.

Day 3: Tidri – Erg Sahel

Trek across the golden dunes of Tidri, then cross a rocky plateau (Reg) with vast stone desert landscapes. Experience the deep silence of the Sahara before reaching the virgin dunes of Erg Sahel. Enjoy a sunset walk, bake bread in the sand, and spend the night under tents. Approx. 5 hours of walking.

Day 4: Erg Sahel – Ergabi Dunes – Oulad Driss

Discover new desert landscapes near the village of Bonou. Lunch near Ergabi village, followed by a walk through adobe houses and traditional desert architecture. Continue to Oulad Driss for dinner and overnight under tents. Approx. 4.5 hours of walking.

Day 5: Oulad Driss – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Transfer back to Marrakech (approx. 450 km) via the Draa Valley, Ouarzazate, and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Photo stops along the way before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
